Wearwise

Encouraging mindful fashion choices through smart outfit management and creative challenges.

Overview

Wearwise is a conceptual mobile application designed to promote **sustainable fashion habits**.

It helps users organize their wardrobe digitally, save favorite outfits, and plan looks for specific occasions.

Wearwise also incorporates a blog feature for tips on sustainable living, and a fun **challenges** section to inspire users to rediscover and rewear forgotten pieces from their own closet — making fashion more **responsible**, **creative**, and **personal**.

Process

1. Research

I started by researching user behavior around fast fashion, wardrobe habits, and sustainable living trends.

Key insights:

  • Many people wear only a small percentage of the clothes they own.
  • Outfit planning apps exist but often lack fun or motivational features.
  • Challenges and gamification can help change habits sustainably.

2. Concept Development

From the research, I sketched the initial idea for **Wearwise**: a friendly, helpful app that feels inspiring rather than judgmental.

I mapped out key features:

  • Wardrobe database (add, tag, and organize clothes)
  • Occasion-based outfit planning
  • Blog section with articles and tips
  • Weekly challenges to encourage more sustainable fashion behavior

3. Design & Prototyping

Using tools like Figma, I designed a clean, modern interface focused on ease of use and visual inspiration.

Color palette: earthy tones with soft pastels to reflect sustainability and positivity.

I created user flows, wireframes, and a clickable prototype to visualize the app experience.

4. Final Presentation

I presented Wearwise as a **solution for personal sustainability** — making sustainable fashion easier, more enjoyable, and more accessible.

The final deliverables included concept posters, mobile app mockups, and sample blog posts and challenges.
